The stainless steel treads are covered with a heavy-duty anti-slip surface that is both exceptionally hard-wearing and resistant to water, oil, and most chemicals. Buyers should note that these steps do not feature a polished finish. Furthermore, because of the applied anti-slip surface, they are not designed for clean rooms, though a punched tread option is available upon request for those specific requirements.

Advanced Mobility and Safety

Efficiency and operator safety go hand in hand. All step units are fitted with four 80mm diameter spring-loaded castors, housed in heavy zinc plating, and feature grey non-marking rubber tyres. These intelligently designed castors retract the moment weight is applied to the steps, allowing the unit to rest entirely on four grey non-marking rubber feet. This guarantees firm, unshakeable contact with the floor. For added security while working at height, a close-fitting handrail surrounds three sides of the platform.

Do they arrive assembled?	All of our Redhill warehouse step units are delivered fully welded and ready for immediate use. Larger warehouse steps, usually 10 tread and above, will be supplied in 2 parts for on site assembly, this is for transportation reasons.
How does the braking or safety system work?	Our mobile steps use either a side hand lock lever and anti ascent bar or weight-activated retractable castors. Both systems ensure that once the user applies weight or engages the lock, the rubber feet grip the floor securely to prevent movement.

	03. Risk & Access Risk in the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery. You must ensure sufficient access for appropriate delivery vehicles to reach your site safely.
